Kristy Hoad focuses her estate planning practice on helping individuals, families, and small business owners create an estate plan that will ensure their legacy for years to come.
Kristy received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law after receiving a Master’s Degree in Jurisprudence from The University of Washington School of Law. While attending law school, Kristy worked as a legal analyst through an externship for the Truth, Reconciliation, and National Unity Commission of the Seychelles. Throughout law school, Kristy volunteered in the Access to Justice Institute and the Housing Clinic, counseling clients in issues ranging from eviction to tax laws.
Prior to joining The Law Offices of Jenny Ling, Kristy worked as an associate attorney at a litigation law firm in downtown Seattle.
Kristy was born into the world of family-run amusement businesses, and has worked closely with her family and others to safeguard their legacies for future generations. Kristy’s lifelong experience with family-run businesses has given her a unique perspective regarding the needs of business owners. Kristy has a deep understanding of the need for strategies that can protect family assets, and has seen the impact that poor planning can have on a family.
Outside of the office she is a proud step-mom, a die-hard Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Storm fan, and thanks to her Australian born spouse, a long-distance supporter of the AFL’s Hawthorn Hawks!
