Associate Attorney

We are looking for someone who is motivated, willing to learn, coachable, enthusiastic about public speaking, and looking to grow with our firm.  While experience as an attorney is preferred, we are able to provide training, but you must bring the hustle. 

 

Job description:

The associate attorney will be responsible for advising and counseling clients on estate and trust matters, drafting documents to effectuate a plan, and other tasks as assigned.

Additionally, the associate attorney will also be responsible for assisting with trust administration and handling probates including, drafting petitions, pleadings, notices, attending hearings, and advising and assisting personal representatives and estate administrators in the process of administering estates from opening the probate to closing the probate. This is an in office position.

 

Further, the associate attorney will also be responsible for advising, counseling, and representing real estate clients in both transactional and litigation matters including drafting deeds, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and lease agreements as well as drafting demand letters, providing notices, drafting pleadings, appearing in Court for hearings, and advocating in Court for clients.

 

Additional work responsibilities may fall outside of normal work hours including presentations to client and potential clients, firm scheduled events, business networking events, and client meetings and signings.

 

Qualifications:

  1. WA licensed attorney (Bar required)
  2. Highly motivated fast learning who is able to work without constant supervision
  3. Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication skills
  4. Ability to effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with other firm members and various types of clients
  5. Ability to manage, prioritize, and balance cases including communicating, coordinating, and instructing paralegal and support staff on job related tasks including drafting assignments, filings, file maintenance, and scheduling.
  6. Confidence to work independently and seek support when needed.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Calendar, Zoom, Clio (preferred)

Pay: $81,000 - $110,000
